Updates

CodingBox is kept current through updates to the driver and the application.

The application

The online application always loads its current version from the web, so there is nothing to update by hand — reload the page to get the latest build. It is a single self-contained file, which also means you can save it and run it offline; the internet is only needed for updates and the code database.

The driver

The driver is a local program, so it is updated like any installed software. Get the latest build from the downloads page and run it over your existing installation.

Staying informed

• Reload the app to pick up interface and decoding updates.
• Update the driver when a new build adds support for hardware or fixes an issue.

If a board stops being recognised after a system update, updating the driver is the first thing to try.
