First connection
Once the driver is installed, you can connect real hardware and read your first module.
Steps
- Start the CodingBox Driver so it is running in the background.
- Connect the programmer board to your computer.
- Insert a transceiver into the board.
- Open the online application. In the connection selector, choose your board.
- The link indicator turns active and the module is identified automatically.
What you should see
- The connection selector lists the available boards (and the built-in simulator).
- The link indicator shows connected once the driver and board are ready.
- The Check transceiver screen fills with the module's
identity and diagnostics.
No hardware yet? Every screen also works in simulator mode, so you can learn the interface before your programmer arrives.
If nothing connects
- Confirm the driver process is running, then reload the page.
- Reconnect the USB cable and check the board has power.
- See Troubleshooting for more.
