Troubleshooting

The app says there is no driver

• Make sure the CodingBox Driver process is running.
• Reload the page so the app re-checks the link.
• Reinstall the latest driver from the downloads page.

A board is not in the connection list

• Reconnect the USB cable and confirm the board has power.
• Try another USB port or cable.
• Update the driver — a newer build may add support for your board.

The module is not identified

• Reseat the transceiver in the programmer.
• Confirm the board matches the module's form factor.
• Read again from the Check transceiver screen.

Low RX power or a link that errors

Low received optical power usually points to a dirty connector, a bent fibre or too much distance rather than a faulty module. See DDM basics.

A page will not write

The module's memory may be protected. Set the unlock values as described in Protected memory & passwords, then write again.

The confirmation email did not arrive

Check your spam folder. If it is still missing, try requesting it again from your personal area a little later.
